100 at Tuscaloosa

| June 19, 2011 @ 3:30 pm | 7 Replies

The mercury reached 100 at Tuscaloosa just before 3 p.m. this afternoon. It really isn’t anything new for T-Town, as they have already seen four days of 100+ temperatures so far this month.

The high so far at Birmingham has been 97, but the 3 p.m. temperature had fallen back to 95.

There have been just a few more clouds over East Alabama, where the high at Anniston has been 92.

Radars are clear across Alabama and no storms are forecast for this afternoon, although an isolated rogue shower or storm can’t be ruled out.

Hot and dry for two more days then rain chances look like they will be going up and the thermometer will be going down.
