Tropical Storm Lee is crossing the Louisiana coast south of Morgan City at this hour.

Maximum sustained winds are 60 mph. The central pressure has dropped a little further…to 989 mb.

One change in the warnings. The tropical storm watch has been upgraded to a tropical storm warning for the area from the Alabama/Florida border to Destin.

The official track is a little faster…with the system still at tropical storm strength over southern Mississippi Monday afternoon and into Alabama as a tropical depression southwest of Birmingham by Tearly Tuesday afternoon.
