Widespread flooding being reported across Jefferson, Blount and Etowah Counties…

Please do not drive around barricades…we are hearing about water rescues in many areas. Recent reports from Tarrant and Attalla. Street flooding in Gadsden. Five Mile Creek above bridge on Five Mile Road. Flooding reported in Oneonta.

Highway 79 underwater in the Tarrant area.

11.54″ in Haleyville.

Lots of trees down across the area, due to 40-50 mph winds and the saturated ground.

93,000 without power statewide.
