Coolest Labor Day?

| September 5, 2011 @ 10:36 pm | 1 Reply

The high today at Birmingham was 75F. That is unusually cool for early September, obviously.

Only two September 5th have ever been cooler as far as the daytime high goes…
…72F in 1974
…74F in 2009

But is the coolest Labor Day?

Turns out two other Labor Days have had a high of 75F. (9/3/2001 and 9/5/1949)

But there has never been a cooler Labor Day in the Magic City.
