* Storm prediction Center still has Alabama under a slight risk today and tonight. Only the southeast corner of the state is not included.

* No watches or warnings for Alabama so far today.

* Nearest Tornado Warning at 10:30 was from the NWS, Lake Charles, La., in the southwest part of that state.

* At 10:30, a long line of showers and thunderstorms, sort of ill-defined, extended from about Galveston northeast across South and Central Louisiana, through Central Mississippi into Northwest Alabama.. There was a separate detached cluster of thunderstorms over Winston County in NW Alabama.
