THIS AFTERNOON: Most of Alabama is enjoying a good supply of sunshine this afternoon through scattered clouds with temperatures mostly in the 47-51 degree range. If you like this kind of weather, you will love our forecast for the next five days.

TOMORROW THROUGH SUNDAY: Expect sunny cool days, and clear cold nights. While we should reach the mid 50s tomorrow, a new surge of colder air arrives Saturday, which will push highs back down into the mid to upper 40s. The coldest morning should come early Sunday when mid 20s are likely. Then, we warm back into the 50s Sunday afternoon.

NEXT WEEK: Our weather stays dry Monday through Wednesday with a warming trend; the 12Z GFS suggest the next chance of rain and possibly a few thunderstorms will come one week from today, Thursday December 15. See the Weather Xtreme video for complete long range details and ideas.

WEATHER BRAINS: Don’t forget you can listen to our weekly 90 minute netcast anytime on the web, or on iTunes. This is the show all about weather featuring many familiar voices, including our meteorologists here at ABC 33/40.
