One Tornado Warning Now

One tornado warning now…

Tuscaloosa and extreme northern Hale County. This circulation has moved out of Greene County. It is approaching Duncanville and will move near Coaling, Cottondale and Vance. There is a chance of a small tornado and a greater chance of damaging winds. Be in safe shelter as this storm approaches.

This storm is clearly riding the boundary between warm, moist air to the south and cooler, more stable air to the north. The dewpoint has dropped at Tuscaloosa from 63F to 52F. The temperature has dropped to 55F.

Other warning for Greene, Hale and Perry Counties has been canceled.
