Dense Fog in Spots

| December 30, 2011 @ 7:58 am

Some dense fog out there across Central Alabama this morning is reducing visibilities to less than 1/2 mile in spots.

33/40 Skycams this morning show dense fog at Gadsden, Montevallo and Clanton.

The visibility at the Shelby County Airport was 1/2 mile.

Skywatchers and Twitter friends report dense fog around the 459/65 interchange.

Be careful is you will be driving for about the next hour or so.

Much colder air coming for the first few days of 2012. Read down for James’ early morning post on temperatures by early next week.
