NOLA To Alabama

| January 10, 2012 @ 8:18 am

For the delighted Alabama fans driving back from New Orleans… this is what you will deal with on the drive home this morning…..

Heavy rain is falling from Laurel on up I-59 to Meridian and into Sumter County Alabama. Nothing severe, but the rain will greatly restrict visibility.

If you are driving later today, keep in mind severe storms are possible along the I-59 route this afternoon and tonight…

Just pay attention to severe weather watches and warnings this afternoon and tonight if you will be on I-59. This probably won’t be a major outbreak, but a tornado or two is certainly possible.
