Late Morning Update

All is relatively quiet across Alabama at midday. Below is the radar from Columbus AFB, MS… you can see stronger storms are forming over North Mississippi…

But, for now, all of the surface based instability remains to the west as well…

Not much change in our overall thinking. The main window for strong to severe storms will come from about 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Stronger storms will produce gusty winds and possibly some small hail. And, we can’t rule out the risk of an isolated tornado.
