Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

A Look At Monday Night

| February 11, 2012 @ 10:28 am

Seems like the door is open for some minor winter weather mischief over North Alabama Monday night as the next batch of precipitation moves into the state. Below is the RPM output valid at 11:30 local time Monday night…

The precipitation will initially fall through very dry air in the low levels, and this evaporative cooling process could mean some sleet, or even a few snowflakes over the northern third of Alabama. Looks like surface temperatures will be above freezing and travel issues won’t be a problem IF this happens at all. But, we will keep an eye on things.
