Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Winston County

| March 16, 2012 @ 3:04 pm

A strong thunderstorm has developed rapidly in the past few minutes between DOuble Springs and Arley. It is moving east towards Arley. It should stay just south of Addison.

It is moving east slowly at just over 10 mph. It will take over an hour to get into Cullman County.

A new broken line of storms seems to be forming now from southeastern Madison through northwestern Marshall, Cullman, Winston and into Lamar Counties.

Scattered storms will develop and push east along this line. Some of them could produce isolated damaging wind gusts and hail.

We have already seen hail to the size of ping pong balls in Etowah County earlier.
