Big Storms

John Talbot reports friend sent picture on FB of large hail covering the ground near Camp Oliver Road and Toadvine Road in western Jefferson County.

That big storm is over southwestern Jefferson County. The most intense part is between Rock Springs and North Johns.

Richard Viola reports that Bessemer PD is overwhelmed with burglar alarms sounding because of the storm.

In Walker County, storms in the Parrish, Cordova, Dora and Sumiton areas are quite strong as well.

More storms are over western Winston County.

There was a tornado warning in Franklin County but it has since been replaced with a severe thunderstorm warning.
