Storms Move Into Northwest Alabama

A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued by the NWS in Huntsville for Colbert and Franklin Counties… and a new severe thunderstorm watch is up for areas over West-Central Alabama…

The main threat will come from damaging straight line winds… winds have gusted to 70 mph along this line in Mississippi with downed trees and power lines…
