Severe weather

Please scroll down to see JB’s post about debris from the Prattville tornado. Interesting stuff. Some of my colleagues at UAH are working on the same thing on a large scale with the Lawrence County tornado of Febraury 6. They are mapping out the debris they’ve found using GPS. One item…a TV set.

18 UTC models make the system on Friday look fairly impressive. 00 UTC models are just starting to come in. I’ll post a more detailed analysis with some graphics around 1130 pm.
