Alabama at High Noon

At 10:12 this morning the Lamar County EMA reported that US 278 was closed in Sulligent due to flash flooding. Some of those heavier showers have now drifted southward into Tuscaloosa and North Pickens County. A storm, with lightning was over North Tuscaloosa County.

Down in Southeast Alabama, an area of showers were moving westward into the area from Southeast Georgia. Otherwise, the weather was fairly quiet across the state.
