High Flooding Potential Over West Alabama

| September 3, 2012 @ 8:58 pm

Radar suggests around 8 inches of rain tonight just east of Greensboro… radar shows tremendous tropical rains continuing from Gordo to Uniontown…

Take it easy out there… turn around, don’t drown!

The good news is that there have been no tornado warnings since 4:00, and the risk of a tornado continues to diminish.

We should also note that lightning network data shows over 6,000 strikes per hour in this zone. It is almost non-stop.
