Thanks Bunches & Bunches!

The only way I can thank all of you for dozens of birthday well-wishes today is to post it here on the blog. I had no idea that many people had ever heard of me.

I get a little silly at times and very early this morning, I posted this brief tongue-in-cheek message on the internal 33/40 IM conference:

URGENT APPEAL: I woke up early this morning and suddenly realized that I am 76 years old today. Nikita Kruschev and I share an April 17 birthday. I may be 76 but I still feel like 46 and I am thankful for that.. Never been bothered by arthritis, not bothered at all by pollen and other alergies, don’t drink bottled water, don’t drink anything stronger than Buffalo Rock, don’t drink, smoke or chew and don’t go with women that do…. My smoking career lasted only 45 seconds. So, I am begging all of you to not put me out to pasture just yet. Please let me work on with all of you a few more years. I need to work. Soon, gasoline will be $10 a quart and Milk $50 a gallon. I desperately need to keep working to help pay our sewer bill because one of these days I am supposed to catch arthritis, lumbago, allergies, a bad cold, all that stuff. I beg of you, let me hang around awhile. My IQ is dropping as you can tell by me writing this but I will try to start propping that up by stopping being silly in my 7-day discussion and blog posts. I need an answer by noon today, otherwise I will plunge into deep depression (never had that before either) and will be forced to eat a Prozac sandwich (never had one of those either. Thanks (Biting my nails and toenails)

Didn’t think anymore about until all these messages started pouring in. Looked back and Bill had mentioned it on the blog. Am astounded that:

They cam for as far away as Nashville, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Dallas and Great Britain!

I am humbled by all this and I deeply appreciate all of you. Thanks to Bill for mentioning it on the blog. I do need to cut down on my silly output and I will work on that…
