A Gorgeous Saturday Afternoon

| October 20, 2012 @ 2:52 pm

The weather this morning and into this afternoon has been incredible. Blue skies, abundant sunshine and very comfortable temperatures are in place all across the state. Temperatures have rebounded very nice this afternoon after a very cool start. After the sun goes down this evening, temperatures should settle back down into40s overnight. It should be an incredible night for star gazing across Alabama.

High pressure centered off to our southwest in Louisiana will keep the dry air over Alabama for the next few days.A look at the satellite, it is hard to find a clouds any where over Alabama. A few clouds in the northeast corner of the state, with more clouds in central and eastern Tennessee. The clear skies will be the norm for much of Alabama the rest of today, tomorrow and into the first part of next week.

Tomorrow’s weather should be a repeat of today’s. Temperatures will be 6-8 degrees warmer than today’s.
