Clearing to Our West

| February 23, 2013 @ 11:45 am

Looking at the latest satellite image, there are a few breaks in the clouds in portions of Central Alabama. Much more clearing in Northwest Alabama and back in North Mississippi and full sun back in Arkansas and Louisiana. Areas around Muscle Shoals and Red Bay have sun already, and clouds should be slowly moving out through out the rest of today and most areas should see some sunshine this afternoon. If by chance you don’t see the sun today, you will tomorrow as Sunday looks to be really nice across Alabama. Stalled frontal boundary across lower Alabama continues to be the main focal point for increased clouds, showers and even some thunderstorms. That activity will stay to our south and we should dry out some today and tomorrow, before more heavy rain moves back in by Monday.
