Showers and Storms Approaching
More showers and thunderstorms are beginning to enter western portions of Alabama. No storms are currently severe in Central Alabama, but there is a severe thunderstorms west of us in Winston County Mississippi. Also, the NWS in Huntsville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Colbert and Franklin Counties in Northwest Alabama. These storms are producing gusty winds and some large hail.
Expect more thunderstorms to develop throughout the afternoon and evening hours. There could be a severe weather watch issued in the next little while as well.
