Moonbow!

| June 23, 2013 @ 12:17 pm

Friend of the Blog Jenny Ellison and her husband made a special trip to Corbin, Kentucky this weekend for one specific purpose: to take photographs of moonbows.

Moonbows, or lunar rainbows, are hard to capture. To do so requires a bright moon and a moisture source, like spray from a waterfall. Generally, the colors aren’t visible to the naked eye. It takes a long exposure photograph to see the colors.

Enjoy the product of her work.

Thanks Jenny!
