Birmingham Area Showers and Storms
Showers and storms have increased rapidly in coverage and are increasing in intensity as well in the Birmingham area tonight.
Here is the radar.
They are strongest, but not severe, over western parts of Jefferson County.
Other storms are over western parts of the City of Birmingham extending back to near downtown.
Further east, showers are heavy in the Mountain Brook and Trussville areas, with additional heavy showers upstream just northeast of Trussville around Argo.
