THE ATLANTA SITUATION
Winter Storm Warning until 3 o’clock this Thursday afternoon. Sleet accumulation up to 1 inch and ice accumulation from freezing rain up to 1/4 inch.

BACK HOME IN ALABAMA
The line separating rain from sleet and snow seems to be edging northward as warmer air tries to spread north from the Gulf of Mexico. Main problems for the remainder of this event will be over about the north third of the state.
