The National Weather Service Birmingham has issued a SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ALERT FOR GREENE, MARENGO AND SUMTER COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT.

Strong storms continue over much ofthe southern half of Sumter County at this hour. The activity is generaly south of Livingston.

Cuba [Sumter Co, AL] fire dept/rescue reports HEAVY RAIN of M2.50 INCH at 05:41 PM CDT — indicated winds 40-45mph on partially shielded sensor.

A severe thunderstorm warning continues for part of Colbert Co. in NW Alabama.
