Mostly Sunny, Cool Afternoon

After a cold start across central Alabama this morning, most locations have warmed up nicely across the state and Southeast. Those temperatures are having no problems warming up with mostly sunny skies that are allowing the full force of the sun to heat the air mass in place. There are a few pockets of clouds over western Alabama, but nothing of significance.  Upper 50s and low 60s will be what most locations will see for highs this afternoon as everyone will continue to see ample sunshine this afternoon.

After the sun sets this evening, those temperatures will once again drop rapidly and most every location will see lows in the upper 30s and low 40s tonight.
