More from John Oldshue…

“For Saturday we visited a group of provincial parks called Kananaskis
Country…we saw about 20 deer, 2 elk, 2 moose, and some mangy looking
mountain sheep….today we went over to the city of Bannf about 15
minutes from our house…we got to see the humongous Banff Springs
Fairmont hotel as well as a beautiful waterfall near there…we
decided to go for a long walk along the Bow River when I overheard a
nice southern drawl and saw the unmistakable Auburn Orange headed my
way…. We ran into the Lecroy’s from Birmingham as they were touring
Banff and had a great 20 minute conversation with them…it was great
to hear some southern voices…I apologize to them for talking their
ears off…the weather has been great …an occasional shower to cool
things down…about 70 in the day and upper 40’s at night…”
