The radar has been resting most of the morning, but as noon approached, showers were beginning to rapidly develop mainly over parts of Central and East/Central Alabama. The better showers were from Talladega, Coosa and Elmore Counties eastward into West Georgia. Some of the heavier ones were over Randolph County adajcent to the Georgia border around Wedowee. A few isolated showers had developed over Shelby and SW Jefferson County. Movement was generally toward the east. A few of those heavier showers were indicating lightly.

Down on the coast, some sea breeze showers were developing over Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
