Showers and thunderstorms contionue to develop mainly across North Central Alabama early this afternoon.

At 12:45 pm, most of them were from Tuscaloosa and Jefferson County eastward into West Georgia. The strongest ones, with the heaviest rain, were over Clay, Talladega, Calhoun and Randolph County in East Central Alabama. Much of Randolph County was getting rain.

Everything moving almost directly east–which is exactly what the morning upper air sounding indicated that they would.

Over the north third of the state, not vey many showers so far. There are showers near the coast–Mobile and Baldwin County.
