Clear Evening, Not as Cold Overnight

| January 18, 2014 @ 4:50 pm

It has been a terrific Saturday of weather across the state of Alabama. Most of the state has seen nothing but sunshine and blue skies. The one exception was across the Tennessee Valley where a few clouds have been hanging around today. After a very cold start to the day, the clear skies and a southwesterly flow allowed most areas to warm into the upper 40s and lower 50s for afternoon highs.

As we head into the overnight hours, we will see a few clouds move-in and after a day of our winds from the south, we will not see temps dip down as low as they were overnight. The evening will be cool and the winds will go calm. Overnight lows will be 8-10 degrees warmer than they were this morning. Most locations across Central Alabama will be in the upper 20s and lower 30s by tomorrow morning.
