Alabama is free of clouds on this January Sunday afternoon. The front that passed through last night and this morning has exited the southeastern corner of the state. The showers and some thunderstorms ahead of the front are now over the Florida Peninsula.

Temperatures are warming nicely into the lower 50s in the I-20 corridor with 40s over the northern part of the state.

Skies should remain mostly clear through tomorrow afternoon. Lows tonight will drop into the upper 20s. Tomorrow promises to be a nice day, with the sunshine and high temperatures that will approach 60F.

Tweaks to the 7 day forecast are about done and will post in a few minutes. The narrative will be up shortly as well.
