Preparing and Saving

| February 20, 2014 @ 11:14 am

As a part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, Alabama is honoring a sales tax holiday on items to help you prepare for dangerous weather. The tax holiday begins at 12:00 am, Friday, February 21, and ends at Midnight, Sunday, February 23. This is a great time to take advantage of this opportunity to stock up on the necessities for keeping you and your family prepared for severe weather. Or even to get items you might need to be prepared such as the newest NOAA Weather Radio model.

A full list of items exempt from Alabama sales tax during this time can be found at ReadyAlabama.gov.
