Alabama 811 | Know What's Below.

Quick Look at the Radar

| February 20, 2014 @ 5:31 pm

The line of strong to severe storms continues to race east across the Mid-South this evening. The southern end of the line is lagging behind somewhat and is moving slower.

We are watching individual cells developing out ahead of the main line across Louisiana and southern Mississippi. These storms are intensifying rapidly and are beginning to reaching severe limits. These storms are lifting off towards the northeast rapidly and will require some watching as these tend to be the storms that have the greatest chance of rotating. They will likely move into western portions of Alabama before the main line catches up to them.
