Cloudy and Mild

| March 15, 2014 @ 3:43 pm

The dry weather continues across much of Alabama this afternoon. There are a few showers along the Gulf Coast, but the bulk of the rain remains out to our west over Texas and Oklahoma. It will be heading our way and will arrive later this evening and overnight.

Currently, we are seeing a sky full of clouds, with just a few breaks that are allowing a peek or two of sunshine through. Our winds are blowing from the south and that continues to bring warmer air north form the Gulf. All locations in Alabama have warmed into the 60s or 70s. Not too bad a day, minus the cloud cover. We will continue to remain mild and we will see clouds continue to move into from the west.

A strong storm system over the southern Plains is producing widespread showers and storms. This storm system is beginning to move east and will bring those showers and storms into Alabama for your Saturday night and Sunday.
