Storms 2 to 3 Hours Away from Alabama Border

The severe thunderstorm watch has been extended to cover much of Northern Mississippi. It comes right up to the Alabama border and still goes until 4 a.m.

There are severe thunderstorm warnings in the Jackson MS area.

This activity is about 2 to 3 hours west of the Alabama border and will push into Alabama overnight. The activity up around Memphis toward sunrise.

There is still a chance some of the storms will be severe when they enter our state.
