RADAR CHECK: We have a number of showers and storms early this morning over East Alabama; the rest of the state is dry with temperatures in the 70s. Expect a mix of sun and clouds today with scattered to numerous showers and storms by afternoon
RADAR CHECK: We have another day of scattered summer soakers across Alabama. Storms are producing very heavy rain, frequent lighting, and gusty winds as they move to the east. Where rain is falling temperatures are in the 70s and 80s, away from the storms we have low to mid 90s.
RADAR CHECK: Rain is falling early this morning in spot spots north and west of Birmingham; the rest of the state is dry with temperatures in the 70s. With a mix of sun and clouds we expect a high in the low to mid 90s today with random, scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and early tonight.
RADAR CHECK: Bands of showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain, continue across Alabama this afternoon. Rain will end soon after sunset tonight, and the sky becomes mostly fair with a low in the 67-73 degree range early tomorrow.
TROPICAL TUESDAY: The remnant circulation of Beryl will pass well to the north of Alabama today, but it will help to pull some deeper tropical moisture into the state helping in the production of scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms.
RADAR CHECK: Clusters of showers and strong thunderstorms continue across Alabama early this afternoon ahead of a surface front. Temperatures are in the 80s over North Alabama, with 90s to the south. Showers will slowly fade late tonight.
RADAR CHECK: We are watching an organized batch of rain and storms over West Tennessee early this morning; if it holds together it will enter the northeast corner of Alabama a little later with some heavy rain and gusty winds. Additional showers and storms will form over the rest of the state later in the day ahead of a surface front
RADAR CHECK: Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue across Alabama this afternoon. The key word is scattered; not raining everywhere, but some places are getting a good summer soaker. The showers are rotating around a broad upper low that formed over the state; they will diminish after dark.
RADAR CHECK: Areas of rain and a few thunderstorms are moving across Alabama early this morning as the upper ridge has weakened over the region. Rain chances are higher today, and heat levels will be lower with many places across Alabama staying below 90 degrees through the afternoon.
RADAR CHECK: Showers have developed over parts of West Alabama this afternoon, generally in areas southwest of Tuscaloosa. Showers are possible statewide tonight with a mostly cloudy sky; the low will be in the mid to upper 60s.
RADAR CHECK: Today has been a case of feast or famine when it comes to rain for Alabama. Most of the rain today has been south of a line from Demopolis to Clanton to Lafayette; radar suggests parts of Wilcox County have received over five inches.
RADAR CHECK: Large areas of rain are moving through Alabama early this morning, including a few stronger thunderstorms near the Gulf Coast. We will forecast periods of rain and a few thunderstorms through tonight.
RADAR CHECK: We have a large mass of rain over Southeast Alabama early this morning; the rest of the state is dry with temperatures in the 60s. We expect showers and thunderstorms to form this afternoon and tonight, more numerous over the northern counties.
RADAR CHECK: Most of Alabama is rain-free this afternoon, although showers continue over the far southern counties of the state in the broad some from Mobile to Dothan. The best chance of rain tonight will remain near the Gulf Coast.
