He is the Broadcast Chair of the National Weather Association. A graduate of the University of North Texas, he has 2 CBMs to his name – he is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and he has his certificate in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State. Besides weather, he is a musician with singing and song writing as part of his talent. On The Weather Channel you can see him weekday afternoons. Having lived in Central Indiana his whole life, he has seen just about all the types of weather. A delivery driver by trade, he has actively chased storms since 2000. He has also been actively involved in new media since it’s inception and has served as a co-host for such weather shows as Severe Weather Central And Center Of Circulation on Internet Partnership Radio. Michael is also an enthuisast of Roadside Attractions And Amusement Parks.
