  6. AM says:

Yeah, that rain snow line on the radar is a bit off. Snowing further south than reading on it. What a surprise while the kids were opening gifts this morning. One to remember. Thank you, Jesus!

  7. Rob says:

The main mass of moisture is going to nearly be gone before it transitions in bham, it looks like. It’s not even raining here yet and yet the radar says it should be.

  8. Sue says:

My 91 yrs old Mother grew up in Marshall Co. said a nice snow was on ground in 1929 at Christmas

  9. Matthew in Walnut Grove says:

  11. Matt in Moundville says:

  12. Lexi says:

So many people were wanting a white Christmas, but I was hoping to spend one last Christmas with my 71-year-old grandfather before I move out of state. The roads near his house are closed, so instead, I only got to talk to him for a few minutes on the phone. Very disappointing.

  13. MIrandi says:

It has been snowing here in Black Creek (Northeastern Etowah County) since abour 7:30 this morning. It has not stopped at all since then and at times had been very, very heavy with huge snow flakes. I would like to say we have over 2 inches on the ground by now….if not more!!!

Merry “White” Christmas from Black Creek, Alabama and the Watson Family!!!

  14. alex richey says:

neato, we started out with a dusting and now it is picking up or hasn’t let up much in the past hr or two. still not near 1/2 in Pinson but it is picking up the pace as we speak.

  15. alex in pinson says:

It sure is neat. I know here in P’town we didn’t get near what others got but it still sure is fun. Still going at it too. fun, fun, fun.

  16. Tony says:

This is just amazing. My kids and I enjoyed snoawball fights and building snowmen earlier. I have thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the first ever White Christmas in Alabama with my family. We have had a little over 2 inches in Glencoe (Southeastern Etowah County) and the snow is still falling with no signs of letting up.

  17. T.Williams says:

Can anybody tell me how or where I can send pictures to? Thank u!

  18. Erin says:

Greetings from Sylvania, AL (Dekalb Co.) atop Sand Mtn…about 4″ of snow still covers the ground here, and light flurries and snow showers continue. Merry Christmas to all and safe travels if out on the road ways! Some of the secondary roads were very slushy mid-day so I’m sure some in this area will freeze tonight!

  19. Jim Phillips says:

We ended up with about 1 inch today in the higher elevations of Bluff Park, Hoover. Kids were sledding in the front yard at mid-day.

  20. Rob says:

Is there going to be more snow tonight? I don’t see any at all on radar. NWS says flurries before midnight, then a 40% chance of SNOW.

  21. Paul says:

I would like to know if we are suppose to get additional snow overnight in Bham also!

  22. Jeff from Hoover says:

Merry Christmas everyone!! It’s looking like the NAO is going negative again after the first of the new year!!

  23. nosnow says:

well in hueytown it snowed some, nothing at all, zilch, zero, no snow on anything no accumulation on nothing. Hope everybody that got snow on the ground really enjoyed it b/c it probably will not ever happen again.:( a little disappointed here… but its ok alot of people got a real gift today…. got a hot bowl of soup, wish i could be lookin at snow on the ground outside my window
