At 450 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over northeastern Birmingham, moving northeast at 55 mph.
AT 433 PM CDT, A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO WAS LOCATED NEAR GREENSBORO, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 55 MPH.
This tornado could touch down at any time and will pass near Pratt City, Coalburg, Fultondale, and Gardendale. Please let your friends in these areas know and be ready to implement your tornado plan on a moment’s notice.
AT 430 PM CDT, A LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO WAS LOCATED OVER SAWYERVILLE, OR 7 MILES WEST OF GREENSBORO, MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.
A very dangerous situation continues across Alabama this afternoon.
At 419 PM CDT, Numerous thunderstorms have been producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen in some locations with earlier reports of flash flooding.
At 410 PM CDT, a tornado producing storm was located near Union, or 8 miles north of Eutaw, moving northeast at 40 mph.
Take all of these storms seriously. We have numerous reports of damage and injuries across Alabama this afternoon and conditions continue to be ripe for tornadoes, including more strong and damaging tornadoes.
At 337 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Alamucha, or near Cuba, moving northeast at 45 mph.

A rotating storm is moving northeastward along the Walker/Jefferson County line heading toward Reeds Ferry, Wyatt, Dora, West Jefferson, and Flat Top.
