From Whence Cometh Our Heavy Rain and Storms

The moisture feeding our current weather system is coming long distances to make it here.

It is coming from the Yucatan and southern Gulf of Mexico as well as the eastern Pacific.

As Satellite Meteorologist Sheldon Kusselson says, this is a significant heavy rain signature.

Several counties in Arkansas are under flash flood warnings tonight.

The entire state of Alabama, except for the Dothan area, is under flash flood watches.
