Tornado Action Starting Already In NE Mississippi

| June 23, 2017 @ 10:39 am

A Tornado Warning has been issued for a cell that is located just to the east of Tupelo and it is moving to the northeast at 50MPH. If this cell holds together and stays on its projected path, it will move into the western portions of Franklin and Colbert counties within the next 45 minutes to 1 hour. People as far south as Red Bay to as far north as Cherokee should be ready to move into a place of safety if this warning continues on.

As of now, this is the only tornado warning in effect for the southeast.
