Frost Advisory Issued For Parts Of West Alabama For 2AM-8AM Sunday

Both the NWS Birmingham and NWS Huntsville offices have combined to issue a Frost Advisory for 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM CDT for Lauderdale, Colbert, Franklin and Lawrence counties in north Alabama, and for Fayette, Greene, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker and Winston counties in central Alabama.

Temperatures will fall between 32 and 36 degrees in the advisory area. These temperatures, along with clear skies and light winds, will be favorable for the development of frost late tonight through sunrise Sunday morning. Please bring your pets and plants indoors tonight, as these colder temperatures could bring harm to them. These cold conditions will damage or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation.
