Freeze Watch Issued For Central Alabama For Sunday Night & Monday Morning

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday morning.

* TIMING…Temperatures at or below freezing from 10 PM Sunday night through 8 am Monday morning.

* TEMPERATURES…Drop below freezing starting around 10 PM Sunday night and last until 8 AM Monday morning, with lows 25 to 31 degrees.

A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible. These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
