Tropical Storm Warnings For Parts Of Central Alabama

A Tropical Storm Warning has now been issued for Barbour and Pike counties until further notice. Tropical storm-force winds are expected within the warning area during the next 36 hours.

Wind
• Latest local forecast: Tropical storm force winds are possible with sustained winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Flooding Rain
• Latest local forecast: 2-4 inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

Tornadoes
• Latest local forecast: situation is unfavorable for tornadoes.
