Areal Flood Advisory Issued For Parts Of Macon And Montgomery Counties Until 7:30PM

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Small Stream Flood Advisory for…
    Macon County in southeastern Alabama…
    Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 424 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain associated with
    Hurricane Michael that will cause small stream flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain have fallen already and additional rains with training feeder bands will cause ponding of water in low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Montgomery, Tuskegee, Tallassee, Notasulga, Meadville, Milstead, Pike Road, Coosada, Shorter, Franklin, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Auburn University In Montgomery, Dublin, Lake Tuskegee, Woodcrest, Snowdoun, Tuskegee National Forest, Sellers, Ramer and Waugh.
