Dangerous Tornadic Storm Continuing To Move Toward Jefferson County

A confirmed Tornado Warning continues for Tuscaloosa and Bibb counties until 3:00 am as the rotational couplet along with a debris signature is located just to the north of I-59/20 and of the Mercedes-Benz plant. Cell is moving to the northeast at 45 MPH and if it continues on its current path, it will eventually move into southwestern Jefferson County within the next 30-45 minutes.

Cities that could be affected by this cell will be North Johns, Hueytown, Bessemer, Rock Creek and eventually Birmingham and Hoover.
