A Few Clouds But Very Nice At Midday

| April 23, 2019 @ 11:50 am

It is another wonderful Spring midday out there across Central Alabama as we have a few streaky high clouds over the area at this point with nice and mild temperatures. Readings across the area are in the lower 70s to right at 80 degrees, with Birmingham currently at 77 degrees. The warm spot is Uniontown at 80 degrees while the cool spot as Haleyville at 73 degrees.

Skies should stay mostly sunny throughout the rest of the afternoon but clouds will begin to move in later this evening and during the overnight hours ahead of the disturbance that is getting its act together back to our west and will eventually bring rain and thunderstorm chances to our area late on Thursday and early on Friday. Today’s highs will top out in the upper 70s to the mid-80s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Wednesday’s weather will feature a mix of sun and clouds but we’ll continue to stay dry and warm. Afternoon highs will be up in the lower to mid-80s. Skies will really begin to cloud over during the late night and overnight hours, but we’ll stay dry. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s to the lower 60s.
