A Line Of Strong Thunderstorms Will Affect Autauga And Lowndes Counties

…A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT AUTAUGA AND LOWNDES
COUNTIES…
At 1155 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from near Valley Grande to near Gardner Island
to 6 miles west of Gordonville to 11 miles southeast of Belknap.
Movement was east at 50 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Prattville, Millbrook, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Deatsville,
Autaugaville, White Hall, Gordonville, Lowndesboro, Benton, Booth,
Vida Junction, Beechwood, Autauga County Airport, Mulberry, Lowndes
County Airport, Logan, Calhoun and Robert F. Henry Lock And Dam.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
