The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Lowndes County in south central Alabama…
Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 1130 PM CDT.

* At 1037 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Autaugaville to 8 miles southwest of
Gordonville, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Montgomery, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Meadville, Pike Road,
White Hall, Gordonville, Lowndesboro, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama,
Auburn University In Montgomery, Dublin, Woodcrest, Snowdoun,
Sellers, Ramer, Waugh, Hunter, Alabama State University and Logan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central,
south central and east central Alabama.
