Strong Storms Affecting Parts of Tuscaloosa, Walker, & Jefferson Counties

…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR CENTRAL WALKER…NORTHERN
TUSCALOOSA AND CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 AM CDT…

At 1051 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Cordova to near Bankhead Lock And Dam to near
Coker. Movement was northeast at 80 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include…
Western Birmingham, Northport, Jasper, Gardendale, Fultondale,
Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Pleasant Grove, Adamsville, Warrior,
Kimberly, Graysville, Morris, Sylvan Springs, Brookside, Parrish,
Coker, Mulga and Oakman.
